Our background
JM Mechanical, Inc. was established in the spring of 2017, when owner James Nyberg branched out and opened his own business. James has an extensive background in the plumbing / HVAC industry. James is second-generation plumber and has been plumbing alongside his dad since he could hold a pipe wrench. James’ passion for the plumbing
industry continued to mature until he officially started his plumbing career in 2004 as a plumbing apprentice. James has since been plumbing for the past 15+ years and in these years, he expanded his expertise to include HVAC work as well.

Our qualifications
James completed his plumbing apprenticeship through the U.A. Local Union 300 of ND & SD JATC and is currently a Master plumber in Minnesota as well as a journeyman plumber in ND. James also holds multiple city licenses including Fargo mechanical and gas license. In addition to his licensures, James is also ASSE 6010 medical gas and OSHA 30 certified, as well as most recently becoming ASSE 5110 testing as well as ASSE 5130 rebuilder certified in backflow prevention. James belongs to the IAPMO and ASSE international groups.
